Van Gogh Gallery Wall
Introduction To Van Gogh Wall for an in-depth study of Vincent Van Gogh as an artist and his celebrated artworks. At the heart of this display is a prominent portrait of Van Gogh, strategically placed at the center, serving as the focal point. Flanking this portrait, the wall presents educational text in both Arabic and English, ensuring accessibility and engagement for a diverse audience. Below the portrait runs a detailed timeline, elegantly laid out, which chronologically highlights the key events and phases of Van Gogh's life, offering visitors a comprehensive view of his artistic journey and personal struggles.
3D Modeling
The objective of this project was to create a 3D model of a sweet treat, and I chose to focus on the donut. This 3D model was crafted and rendered using Blender.
The donut case study set the groundwork for a more intricate subsequent project: modeling and designing an original character.
For this next project, I was inspired to 3d model charming animal figurines created from porcelain. I chose to model cats depicted in a playful, cartoonish style, standing upright on their two front legs. These figurines blend a whimsical charm with a subtly eerie undertone, making them uniquely appealing.
Movie Analysis of Black Swan
This study embarked on the creative challenge of enhancing an already compelling film. The film in question is Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan."
After a detailed analysis of the movie and creating several new poster designs for it, I reimagined a key scene to elevate its narrative impact. In my revised storyboard, the protagonist, Nina, is in the fitting room gazing into a mirror. Instead of encountering a terrifying reflection of her Black Swan persona, she embraces it, recognizing the necessity of this darker alter ego in her current predicament. In this pivotal moment, Nina touches the mirror and discovers it is liquid, allowing her passage through it—a metaphorical and literal crossing into her Black Swan identity. This concept draws inspiration from Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking-Glass," where the mirror serves as a portal to an alternate reality. By stepping through the mirror, Nina allows the Black Swan to take over her performance, symbolizing her acceptance and integration of her dual identities. This twist not only surprises the audience but also shifts the narrative arc from fear to empowerment, offering a fresh perspective on Nina's transformation.
